Kurume-kasuri and naturally tanned leather clutch bag
A clutch bag made of traditionally made Kurume-kasuri textile and vegetable tanned smooth leather.

The kasuri parts are composed of Kurume-kasuri textile with native bay laurel pattern and Kurume-bunjin-kasuri textile which is known as 'litterateur-kimono'. The pattern of native bay laurel Kurume-kasuri is formed through many processes such as tying and dyeing and careful composition of the warp and woof by skilled hands. The Kurume-bunjin-kasuri is made from the artistic interweaving of natural indigo-dyed Kimono and nep yarn.

The smooth vegetable tanned leather is produced with care. No hazardous chemicals, artificial coloring or treatments are used throughout the production process. Some tonal variations can occur with natural tanning. The leather gradually gains its own unique color as time passes.

Clean look with concealed stitching.
